Sleeping between the edge of two is a long-term visual research that explores the cultural, emotional and identity dynamics experienced by second-generation individuals within Monfalcone’s Bangladeshi community. It explores what it means to grow up straddling two worlds—the heritage passed down from parents and the environment encountered daily—and examines how these new generations strive to carve out an authentic space that fully reflects their evolving identities.
