Alice Zorzin (b. 1996) is an Italian documentary photographer and visual researcher based between Venice, Trieste and the Alps.
After a MA in Arts History, she decided to devote herself entirely to photography. In her visual stories Alice focuses on the ways people react and interact with their environment, both as individuals and as a community. Alice’s work is dedicate to capture narratives about this deep connection in relation with cultural identity, memories, past, traditions and climate change, using a metaphorical approach and ethnographic research methods.
Her work has been exhibited in various part of Italy and featured in international publications such as PhotoVogue, Artribune and Exibart.
In 2024 she has collaborated with Arte and the Director Sebastian Saam for a film documentary about climate change effects in the Julian Alps and how people live with this and adapt to it, where she talked about the spruce bark beetle epidemic.
Alongside her personal projects and researches, Alice share her passion for photography with enthusiasts and teaches visual storytelling in some municipalities of the Alps.
