Alice Zorzin (b. 1996) is an Italian photographer and visual researcher.
After earning an MA in Art History, she decided to devote herself entirely to photography. In her visual stories Alice focuses on the ways people react and interact with their context, both as individuals and as a community. Alice’s work is dedicate to capture narratives about this deep connection in relation with cultural identity, memories, past and traditions, using a layered approach that combines ethnographic research, archival materials, personal stories, and contemporary visual narratives. Across her projects, Alice brings together her strong interest in mountain landscapes, rural contexts, and marginal territories, examining them as places shaped by memory, cultural continuity, and processes of transformation.
Her work has been selected for the SplitFormat Festival and the Felix Schoeller Photo Award, has been exhibited in Croatia and Italy, and featured in international publications including PhotoVogue, Artribune, and Exibart.
In recent year, she was selected for an artist residency organized by Trieste Photo Days and received commissions from the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and from Fondazione LavoroPerlaPersona for artistic research projects.
Alongside her personal projects, Alice is also active as a researcher and curator. She has contributed to several exhibition projects, including Paesi Perduti at MART Rovereto and Cinquant’anni dopo. In valle dei Mòcheni con Flavio Faganello organized in some municipalities of the Mòcheni Valley (Trentino - Alto Adige).
